Pemba Doma Sherpa (36), a prominent woman climber who have climbed Everest from both North and South face, died on a tragic incident on 21st May 2007, while returning from the summit of Lhotse. Lhotse is one of the most difficult mountains to climb. She is survived by her husband and a daughter. ESA extends it's heartfelt condolence and prayers for her eternal peace.

14 members of Berg Adventures Climb Everest on 18th Oct. 2006
As per the report of related Agency and email of Team Leaer, the following five member of "Berg Adventure Everest 2006" expedition team and nine climbing sherpa successfully climbed Mt. Everest (8,848m) on 18th Oct. at the time in between 10.00 am and 10.54 am.

09. Mr. Mingma Ongel Sherpa (28 yrs), Khumjung - 8, Solukhumbu
10. Mr. Passang Tenzing Sherpa (28 yrs), Khumjung - 8, Solukhumbu
11. Mr. Da Nuru Sherpa (47 yrs), Khumjung - 8, Solukhumbu

The above mentioned team comprising of 7 members was permitted to climb 8,848m. high Mt. Everest from South Col Route for the period of 75 days from 28th August, 2006 under the leadership of Mr. Wallance Wayne Berg of USA.
The handling agency of the Expedition Team is Peak Promotion (P) Lts. Kathmandu, Nepal.
